The Brief
The estate of renowned Haitian born artist Jean-Michel Basquiat were wanting to showcase his artwork in a way that put emphasis on the user-interface.
Stromme were tasked with the job of showcasing the talented artist’s amazing work and they asked us here at Infiniweb to write the code to make the site work.
The Process
Stromme designed the interface and sent us the design specifications in Adobe Photoshop file format (PSD) with very specific instructions for the desired animation effects.
We then broke down those design specifications into their respective components (HTML/CSS/Javascript) and transferred the code into the web pages with their relevant animated transitions.
The site is written using the Adobe Business Catalyst Content Management System. It uses the JQuery framework heavily, as well as some additional extensions, for all of the effects and transitions.
