The Brief
The aim of the project was to showcase the music of an English singer-songwriter based in Beijing.
The Process
The music is inspired by many sources but harks back to simpler times, so the site needed to be simple but easy enough to display what was most important… the music itself. The content we started with was the names of the albums and the tracks in mp3 format themselves.
We created the site to use an Adobe Flash front-end, maintained by a custom-written CMS to write the XML-based configuration files.
